Does the original memory work in Slots 1/3? Have you tried resetting the BIOS (CMOS Memory) with memory in slots 1/3 and see if it works. To reset the CMOS memory, with the PC powered off, remove the CR2032 coin cell battery on the motherboard for at least 10 minutes.
